Andreas Psota
SENIOR POLICY ANALYST
Andreas is the Senior Policy Analyst at The Policy Project. Before finding his new professional home at The Policy Project, Andreas has worked in diplomacy, government, and the non-profit sectors. In the diplomatic world, Andreas worked for the Canadian government to advocate for its foreign policy priorities in Switzerland, he helped the British government to define its bilateral relationship with Switzerland in a post-Brexit world, and he assisted the Swiss government in its Middle East Peace efforts. Andreas worked for the Swiss Catholic charity organization as a Middle East Program Officer and he lived in Bosnia-Herzegovina where he led a humanitarian reconstruction project. He has a master’s degree in International Relations from the Australian National University with a specialization in Peace and Conflict studies and a bachelor’s degree in Political Science and International Cultural Studies from BYU-Hawaii. When he’s not trying to figure out how to reduce poverty and solve other societal problems, he spends time with his wife and three boys - preferably outdoors - on foot, on a mountain bike, or on a snowboard.
