VOLUNTEER WITH US
It takes all kinds of people and all kinds of talents to move good policy forward. When you volunteer with The Policy Project, you become part of a passionate community committed to doing real good for real people.
Types of Volunteer Roles
We’re refining our approach.
Over the past few years, we’ve had the honor of working with over 600 Community Champions across Utah—and we’re so grateful for their support. As The Policy Project grows, we’re shifting from this broad network of Champions to more focused, regional Impact Teams. These targeted teams will offer volunteers more meaningful ways to get involved and help us better understand the unique needs of each community—ensuring our policies are shaped by and for every corner of the state.
Impact Teams
Impact Teams are regional groups of volunteers who work together to bring our policy efforts to life at the local level. As a team member, you might organize a food drive for your local Teen Center district, host a postcard-writing event during the legislative session, or help us build relationships with trusted community leaders.
These roles are perfect for people who want to get involved consistently, show up locally, and make a meaningful difference in their communities.
We’re currently forming teams in Davis/Weber County, Salt Lake County, Utah County, Southern Utah, and plan to expand to more areas in the years ahead.
Operational Volunteers
Our Operational Volunteers power The Policy Project—bringing their time, skills, and creativity to essential roles that keep our mission moving forward. From event logistics and marketing to data tracking, these volunteers play a vital role in making our work successful.
We’re currently looking to fill the following roles: marketing specialist, videographer, event coordinator, and event photographer.
