Carnival to Raise Voices Against Child Sexual Abuse
Mark your calendar for Saturday, April 27th! Come join the fun for family and community complete with food trucks, games, raffle, and silent auction and even a discounted play at Uptown Jungle (located next door between 6-8 p.m.). This event is hosted by Mrs. North America Universe Ltd. & Top Shelf Cabinets. Games will be indoors and proceeds will benefit The Safe Child Project and Saprea. SAFE Symposium: Ending Child Sexual Abuse

Child sexual abuse is a silent epidemic in our country, and Utah is no exception. How do we make substantive headway on eliminating child sexual abuse from our communities? Join elected officials, nonprofit leaders, and academic researchers/university administrators for discussions surrounding what we can collectively change to keep our kids safer.
The Safe Child Project Community Education Night
Join us at Saprea headquarters for an empowering event as we launch The Policy Project's latest initiative: The Safe Child Project. It's an opportunity for community members to come together, become educated, learn about effective resources to prevent child sexual abuse, and offer support. Trained individuals from Saprea will will lead an educational session: "Top 5 Ways You Can Reduce the Risk." Please note that this event is being held in person, and seating is limited. To secure your spot, make sure to register as soon as possible!

Utah Period Project — Summer Service Project Extravaganza!

Did you know 1 in 4 teenage girls in the United States can't afford period products? This Menstrual Hygiene Day we want to make sure EVERY student in Utah has the period supplies they need this summer and we need YOUR help!
Join us the evening of May 25th to pack THOUSANDS of summer period kits for Utah students in need. This event is open to all ages—bring your kids, parents, friends, and neighbors!
We will be sharing exciting updates about our mission to end period poverty—including the launch of our global "Period Positive Workplace" campaign! And of course there's no party like a PERIOD PARTY—so there will be treats, sodas, and a DJ while we come together to give back!
We also need volunteers who can take boxes of assembled period kits from the service project and deliver them to Utah schools by May 31st. We will send out a sign up list for schools to event attendees a week or two before the event!
We are grateful to the Beverley Taylor Sorenson Foundation whose generous donation has made this event possible and will impact thousands of Utah student's lives.
