COMMUNITY CHAMPION AGREEMENT

This agreement reflects how The Policy Project values our Community Champions and outlines the expectations for both parties. Our goal is to ensure that your experience is both productive and rewarding!

Please note that this agreement is not a legally binding contract; it is based on mutual respect and shared commitment. There is no intent to establish an employment relationship now or in the future. If you decide to end your involvement as a Community Champion, please notify us as soon as possible by emailing jayden@thepolicyproject.org.

The Policy Project’s Commitment to You:

• Treat you with respect and courtesy at all times.

• Keep you informed about the latest updates, opportunities, and events through regular communication.

• Provide the necessary training, resources, and materials to help you effectively advocate for The Policy Project’s mission.

• Facilitate connections with other Community Champions, partners, and stakeholders.

• Offer opportunities for you to provide feedback and suggest improvements regarding your volunteer experience.

• Acknowledge and appreciate your contributions as a vital part of our grassroots efforts.

Your Commitment as a Community Champion:

• Seek opportunities to advance The Policy Project’s mission and expand its reach.

• Actively promote The Policy Project through various channels, such as sharing content on social media, inviting people to events, and hosting community gatherings.

• Represent The Policy Project positively and accurately when engaging with others.

• Contribute your time as you’re able, choosing volunteer activities and events that fit your schedule.

• Follow through on commitments made to The Policy Project and communicate proactively if you are unable to fulfill any responsibilities.

• Maintain the confidentiality of any sensitive information shared during your involvement with The Policy Project.

• Actively engage in evaluations or surveys to help us improve our programs and enhance your volunteer experience.
