Pack + Party: Fall Service Event

Did you know that 84% of teenage girls have missed class, or know someone who has, due to lack of access to period products? Help us reduce these rates!

On Thursday, November 7, The Policy Project is hosting its semiannual Pack + Party in St. George for the first time to ensure state-wide engagement and impact. So put on your pink and come help us pack THOUSANDS of period kits for Utah students in need. This event is open to all ages—bring your kids, parents, friends, and neighbors!

And, of course, there's no party like a PERIOD PARTY—so there will be treats and a DJ while we come together to give back!

We also need volunteers to take boxes of assembled period kits from the service project and deliver them to Utah schools by Friday, November 22, so students have access to period products over the Thanksgiving holiday. We will send out a sign up sheet of schools to all event attendees a week or two before the event!

Together, we can end period poverty!

We are grateful to Aunt Flow for their generous donation of pads for the period kits we are assembling, ensuring students have access to period products when school's not in session.

We also extend our thanks to The Pad Project for their monetary grant, which enabled us to purchase tampons to add to these weekend period kits, ensuring Utah students have the period products that best suit their needs and activities.
